No screen nearby? It's still Anyware.

Without a monitor, your phone opens Anyware's apps one at a time, full screen, from its own home screen. Plug in again and every window goes back where you left it.

Why I stopped carrying a laptop

Most days my phone already does everything. The trouble was never power, it was the five-inch screen and the glass keyboard.

Now it plugs into the monitor at the library, the TV at my sister's, the screen in the hotel room. Same files, same windows, wherever I sit down.

Describe an app. Studio builds it.

Tell Studio what you need in plain words. Anyware AI writes it, checks its own work, and puts it in your App Launcher, where it opens in its own window like any other app. Keep talking to change it.

Questions

Is Anyware OS really free?

Yes. The desktop, phone mode and every built-in app are free to download and use. Studio, for building your own apps, is $25 a month, and you can top up Anyware AI credits when you need more.

What do I need to get the desktop on a big screen?

Your phone, a screen and a keyboard. Plug into a monitor or TV with a USB-C display cable, or use AirPlay or Cast. Any Bluetooth or USB keyboard works. You don't need a mouse: your phone's screen becomes the trackpad.

Will my phone plug straight into a monitor?

iPhones with USB-C can, with a USB-C to HDMI or DisplayPort cable, and any iPhone can use AirPlay. Android phones need USB-C video out (DisplayPort alt mode) to plug in; others can Cast, or use an older USB 2.0 DisplayLink adapter, which Anyware drives itself.

Can I use a mouse?

On iPad, Android phones and tablets, and Chromebooks, yes. iPhone doesn't pass a mouse through to apps, so on iPhone your phone's screen is the trackpad: tap to click, two-finger tap to right-click, two fingers to scroll, three fingers to drag.

How do I get Anyware on a Chromebook?

Install it from the Google Play Store on your Chromebook. Anyware is the same Android app that runs on phones and tablets, not a ChromeOS app or a Chrome extension, so you won't find it in the Chrome Web Store. On a Chromebook the desktop fills its own screen.

Does Anyware replace my phone's operating system?

No. Anyware is an app from the App Store or Google Play, and your phone stays exactly as it is. Keep Anyware in front while you work: phones only send keyboard and mouse input to the app on screen.

What happens without a monitor?

Anyware runs on the phone itself: a home screen of your apps, each opening full screen with a title bar made for touch. Connect a display and the full desktop comes back, windows where you left them.

Can I run my own apps?

Yes. Apps you make in Studio go into your App Launcher and open in their own windows. Web apps get desktop behaviour too: right-click, ⌘ shortcuts, the clipboard, and your files when you allow it.

Carry the whole desk.

Anyware OS is free on iPhone, iPad, Android phones, tablets and Chromebooks.
